Not dead! :D
Just wanted to post quick update so that everyone knows that I made it and am still alive. :) The flight was long and we got delayed in New York, so we didn't arrive at Heathrow for almost three hours after we were supposed to, and then we had to wait for another two hours to get our rental van (which looks a bit like a golden hearse), then drive up to our cottage in York (another three-ish hours) . . . that was a long day. . .
Anywho, I have tons of pictures, but they are on my phone and laptop, and the cottage ended up not having internet access. :/ Once we get to London (on Friday, I think), we should have WiFi and I'll do a longer blog post then with photos and commentary. :D (I'm sitting at a McDonald's in York leeching off their free WiFi right now on my Dad's Surface tablet.) :P
